  • Thomas Hinds was a very professional DJ throughout the whole process. Him and his wife were a very effective team. With them we got music, sound system for reception and ceremony, announcing, as well as efficient time managers to help us keep on track during our wedding/reception which lasted about 5 hours. He was very upfront about only playing “family friendly” songs and still had a wide range of songs. I literally could not get off the dance floor! I was very impressed at how Tom managed to keep the atmosphere through ceremony, dinner and dancing alike.

  • Incredible DJ! Tom DJed my wedding and did an amazing job. I gave him a list of songs and he did a perfect job putting it all together and choosing songs from my list to make it an amazing night! He also helped guide the night over the microphone for each of our special moments. He did such a great job that all my sisters had him DJ their weddings as well. At my youngest sister’s wedding, he played all four sister’s ‘first dance’ songs. It was really special! He has lots of ideas for ways to make your event special, and he really makes it about you and what you want. Very highly recommended!!

  • I have been to a number of events DJ’d by Tom. Everyone always has a good time. He sets up in plenty of time and is well prepared before the guests arrive. At my events he has played a variety of music so that everyone had something they enjoyed. He consults with the host on what they want to hear and have happen. With his selections, he helps set the mood & prepare the guests for the next part of the program. He responds to the people and they respond to him. The best treat is when his wife comes to assist him and they manage a little time on the dance floor together.

HOW DO WE TAKE THE STRESS AWAY?

We work directly with your other vendors. This allows us to help make sure we are all on the same page & work as a team to make your wedding or event run smoothly. We use a variety of tools to make your special day go off without any trouble. From our informational planning guide to online contracts for convenience.

We are thrilled to use an interactive app customized for your event that allows clients to pick music from Spotify, YouTube, or Pre-determined song lists. This is so cool! Couples are loving this tool! Further, this tool allows you to complete the planning form and timeline info on-the-go in the app.

Thomas Hinds Entertainment is one of the few husband-and-wife teams available in the Sacramento area.

Tom programs the music and organizes the event while Ruth keeps everyone on track and coordinates the event. Our services include (in no particular order) event outline and organization, coordination during the event, customization of music to your event, upbeat and energetic music, sound reinforcement for ceremonies and toasts, dance lighting, beat matching, and a great time.

We provide top service in event orchestration! We will communicate and work directly with photographers, videographers, caterers, facilities, and wedding planners. Most of all we will communicate with you. You won’t have to come up to the DJ booth to see when we are moving on, or what’s coming up. We’ll let you (and your photographer!) know up front and before things happen.
